Our Mission
The center is here for the overall development of the community. It operates a feeding center which provide free meals (Mon-Fri) for the children of poor families. We operate a full day school to allow the underprivileged children in the area an access to education.
About Us
The Community Development Center or the New Light CDC is a project under the jurisdiction of “The New Light Foundation” which is a non-profit, non-government, non-religious foundation registered with the Thai government.
Our Projects
A large part of our volunteer efforts contributes greatly to towards our mission of helping rebuild the community of Baan Namkem village. We need people with the heart and passion for the forgotten. We are very impressed by the work that Jason has faithfully done over the past few years and we would like to wish him All the Best and may God’s provision continue to guide Jason and the rest of the staff at CDC as they continue as “Shining Lights” to the community of Baan Nam Kem.

I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to be able to be there for some of the children. They may not remember me due to the short period of time I spend with them, but I will certainly remember them and I am honestly blessed to be able to bring smiles on their faces, even if only for a little while.
I am definitely looking forward to returning VERY SOON when I can and hopefully, this time round, I will be able to stay around longer and contribute more! 🙂 I feel really blessed to have met all of you in my life! Cheers to CDC!
